Santa Clara Golf Club may be found on Marbella's east side and offers a course that's suitable for golfers of all skill levels. This Spanish club is relatively new, but it's already played host to notable international golf events. The 58th Annual Spanish Professional Championship was held here in June 2003. Designed by golf architect Enrique Canales Busquets, the course at Santa Clara Golf Club offers 18 holes and a 71-par rating. It represents somewhat of a break from that region's traditions with regard to course design; the facility features rolling parklands with expansive greens, very few hills and lots of trees. There is no rough throughout 75 percent of the course.

Gracing the front nine are:

  • Two par threes
  • Six par fours
  • One par five

The nine holes at the back cover more ground, offering two par threes, five par fours and two par fives. Numerous bunkers step up the degree of difficulty. Additionally, players must navigate water on many of the holes.

Amenities at this club are extensive. A restaurant and bar are available, and gear may be purchased at a vast pro shop. A clubhouse welcomes you with comfortable accommodations, and a driving range is offered for your pleasure.
