Marbella Wedding Planning
When planning your Marbella wedding, it's important to make sure that you give careful consideration to the date of the event. As the saying goes, timing is everything, and this is especially true when planning nuptials in a foreign country.
Choose the Right Date When Planning Your Marbella Wedding
If you're planning a Catholic wedding in Marbella, you'll have an easier time finding an available church if you schedule your nuptials on a weekday, as opposed to a weekend. Marbella has a large Catholic population, and on weekends, the churches are usually booked to accommodate local services.
Summer is peak tourist season in this Spanish resort community. It's a lovely time of year in the town, but it's also quite crowded with tourists from other parts of Spain and beyond flocking to its beaches. As you plan your wedding, you may want to schedule it so that you don't have to cope with these crowds. At the same time, though, you won't want to miss the great summer weather. The solution? Schedule your wedding in mid- to late September. By this time, the summer crowds will have departed. The gorgeous weather, however, will likely still be in evidence, since Marbella has historically experienced warm Septembers. Another option is to schedule your wedding in early June, before the crowds arrive.
