Artola Golf
Artola Golf holds the distinction of being one of the few nine-hole golf courses in the Marbella region of Spain. As such, it's perfect for those just learning the sport of golf or for seasoned veterans wishing to brush up on their short games. It may be found between Fuengirola and Marbella, and is directly connected to the Artola Hotel.
Play at Artola Golf
At Artola Golf, you'll find a par-27 course that was designed by Jorge Rein Mackinlay. It was launched in 1974 with just six holes. Another three holes were added 20 years later, bringing its hole count up to its current nine.
The course is situated between the main Costa del Sol road and the ocean and offers jaw-dropping vistas. The greens at Artola Golf are usually regarded as being manageable for golfers of all skill levels. Fairways here are relatively short, and the course is located on flat terrain. Each of the course's holes are named after the plants that populate the course. As a result, the holes have names like El Ficus, El Naranjo, El Eucaliptus and La Palmera.
Facilities at Artola Golf include a bar that is open daily from 9 a.m. to midnight, as well as a restaurant. The Hotel Artola also beckons, replete with old-world charm. Artola Golf is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
